Crockpot Pork Roast Recipe

3+lbs pork roast
1 large jar or 2 14oz cans sauerkraut (do not drain)
1 whole potato for each person to be served, peel or not
1/2 whole onion per person
garlic powder

Do not rinse kraut put 1/2 on crockpot bottom. Put roast on top of kraut. Sprinkle roast well with garlic powder or granulated garlic.

Put the rest of sauerkraut on top of roast. Put potatoes on top of roast. Peel onion , cut onion in half place also on top of roast.

Put lid on cook 6-8 hours on low. The roast is very moist and the kraut becomes very mild. The roast does not pick up the sauerkraut flavor.
