Sweet and Sour Kraut Salad
1 quart kraut
1 large onion
1 large bell pepper
1 C diced celery
1 2 oz jar pimento
2 C granulated sugar
1/4 C water
1/2 C cooking oil
3/4 C vinegar
1 tsp celery seed
Wash and drain kraut. Chop together kraut, onion, bell pepper, celery, and pimento. Add sugar, water, cooking oil, vinegar, and celery seed. Let stand at least 24 hours in refrigerator. Will keep a week or so.
