Stir Fried Asparagus
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons olive oil
3 gloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ lb. fresh asparagus spears, trimmed ( use real thin spears for best results)
Melt butter in skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in olive oil, salt & pepper. Add garlic and cook for few minutes, but do not brown. Add asparagus and cook 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally to insure even cooking.
The asparagus will be tender-crisp and delicious.
