Czech Sauerkraut Dish
2 lb. bag sauerkraut, drained
½ medium onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 heaping Tbsp. flour
½ to 1 cup water
Brown onion in oil until lightly browned. Add flour and stir until creamy and smooth. Add water, a little at a time, until desired thickness.
Pour mixture over sauerkraut. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes, or until like gravy.
