Clara's Red Green Cabbage Salad
½ head green cabbage, cored and cut in thin strips
½ head red cabbage, cored and cut in thin strips
6 Tablespoons sherry vinegar
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
salt/black pepper to taste
4 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
1 small carrot peeled and finely diced
1 apple peeled and finely diced
3 Tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
3 Tablespoons walnut pieces lightly toasted in a dry skillet
1 Tablespoon sugar
2 Tablespoons olive oil
Mix together, chill.
