Chow Chow Now Salad
1- 16 oz. can cut green beans
1- 16 oz. can cut wax beans
1- 16 oz. can whole kernel corn
1- 16 oz. can red kidney beans
4 ribs celery, cut in to 1/2' pieces
1 large red & green bell pepper, cut into small pieces
1 medium onion, cut into small pieces
1 large carrot, cut into 1/4' slices
Do not drained canned vegetables.
In large bowl, mix all ingredients together.
In medium saucepan add:
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 cups vinegar
1/4 cup oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
dash of paprika
Heat until sugar dissolves. Pour over vegetable mixture & stir. Let stand 24 hours.
Refrigerate leftovers.
