Cabbage Casserole

 

1 small cabbage, chopped
1 pound ground beef
½ cup onion, chopped
¼ cup raw rice
10 ounce can tomato soup
16 ounce can whole tomatoes, chopped
Salt and pepper

Place cabbage in casserole dish.  Brown meat and drain.  Layer meat, onion, rice, soup and tomatoes over cabbage.  Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 ½ hours.

Freezing:  Bake for 45 minutes, cool.  Wrap well and put in freezer.  When ready to use, thaw it and bake another 45 mintues.
