Raisin Nut Pie

3 eggs, slight beaten

¾ cup karo dark syrup

½ cup packed brown sugar

¼ cup butter, melted

½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts

1 teaspoon vanilla

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup raisins

1 unbaked 9” pie shell.

 

Put eggs in bowl and beat in corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla and salt until well blended. 

Stir in raisins and nuts.  Then pour the mixture into the pie shell. 

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
