Mix together for the dough mixture:

1 box German chocolate cake mix

¾ cup melted butter ( 1 ½ sticks)

1/3 cup evaporated milk

1 cup chopped pecans

½ tsp. vanilla

½ tsp. butter flavoring

Melt in microwave:

1 pound Kraft caramels

1/3 cup evaporated milk

½ tsp. burnt sugar flavoring

Also need:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

l.  Butter and flour 9 x 13 pan

2. Put half of the dough mixture in bottom of pan.

3. Bake for 6 minutes at 350 degrees.

4. Spread the chocolate chips over the baked batter.

5. Spread melted caramel mixture over the chocolate chips.

6. Put the rest of the dough mixture over the top of the caramel layer. (I put little crumbles pieces all over and they will bake together)

7. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
