Easiest German Apple Kuchen

■1 box yellow or white cake mix
■1 stick (1/2 C.) butter or margarine, melted
■1 can apple pie filling
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour pie filling in greased and floured 9x13-inch pan. Sprinkle cake mix over filling. Pour melted butter over cake mix. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly browned.

 

Note: Substitutions are easy and delicious. Use another fruit pie filling in place of the apples, or use chocolate or spice cake mix in place of the yellow cake mix. You can also jazz it up by sprinkling on some chocolate chips, cinnamon chips, or chopped nuts before baking.
