Chocolate Peanut salted cookies

1 ¼ c butter (I used margarine)

¾ c brown sugar

1 c sugar

2 tsp vanilla

Cream above together

2 eggs add to above & mix well

mix together:

2 ¼ c flour

¾ c cocoa

1 tsp soda

½ tsp salt

Add dry ingredients to cream mixture and mix well (it will be stiff)

Add:

1 cup peanuts (coarsely chopped) Mine was heaping cup

1 cup peanut butter chips (I used 1 full pkg choc chips)

 

sea salt to garnish

 

preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheet with  parchment paper

 

drop by heaping tablespoons onto lined cookie sheet.  Sprinkle sea salt on top (recipe said to sprinkle after baked but I found it stuck better by doing it before baking cookies)

Bake 8-10 minutes (I baked mine 8 minutes and let set on cookie sheet 3 minutes before removing to cooling rack) 

If you bake  them longer they are not as chewy.
