Chocolate Ice Box Cookies

1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
4 squares melted baker’s chocolate
3 cups sifted flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup nuts, chopped

Mix together and form into rolls and freeze. Slice and bake at 325 degrees about 12 minutes.
