Betty's Fudge

1 pound melted butter (yes 1 pound)
6 cups brown sugar
l large can of Carnation milk (12 oz.)
1 tsp. Vanilla

Boil this mixture for 15 minutes. (no stirring required). Put it in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes. Mix in 2 pounds of icing sugar with a mixer. Mixture will be quite stiff. Line two cookie sheets with wax paper and spread mixture out on these. Let set and cut.
