1/2 c. margarine or butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 tsp. baking powder
3 ripe bananas, mashed
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. nuts, chopped
Cream butter, sugar and eggs; add bananas, then buttermilk. Mix and add dry ingredients.
Bake using jelly roll pan, greased and floured, at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting
