Sweet Potato Parsley Dog Biscuits
5 ounces sweet potato pureed baby food
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour, and
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley.
In a bowl, whip together the eggs and the sweet potato baby food.
Add the flour, mixing with your hands if necessary.
Dog biscuit dough is typically quite dry so squeeze it together until the ingredients are well blended but don’t add any extra moisture even if you’re tempted!
Squeeze or fold in the chopped parsley until well combined.
Roll the dough out on a floured surface until it’s 1/4 inch thick and use a dog bone shaped cookie cutter to cut the shapes.
Place on a greased baking sheet, about 1/4 inch apart {the dog cookies will hardly spread and will only rise a bit taller} and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Let the biscuits cool completely then store them in an airtight container.
