Plum Dumplings (Svestkovy Knedliky)

Make recipe of baking powder dumplings.
2 C all-purpose flour
1 T baking powder
1 tsp kosher salt
3/4 C milk
4 T butter melted

In a bowl sift together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and kosher salt. Stir in the melted butter and milk JUST UNTIL the dough comes together. Roll out about 1/2-inch thick on floured board.  Cut into four-inch squares. Place a pitted fresh blue plum in center of each square.  Insert two sugar cubes in place of pit.  Bring corners of dough together, seal well.  Drop into boiling water.  Boil about 15 minutes or until done.  Serve with browned butter and sugar.
