Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread
3 cups all purpose flour
¾ tea spoon Salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups mashed ripe bananas
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine the first five ingredients; stir in pecans. Combine remaining ingredients; add to flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 8 ½’ x 4 ½” a 3” loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 70 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans, and let cool on wire racks.
