Date Bread

1/2 lb dates, cut-up
1 3/4 C boiling water
1 C sugar
3 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 T peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour boiling water over dates, cool. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend well. Place in greased bread pans. Bake for 45 minutes or until well browned. Makes two loaves.
