Applesauce Doughnuts

1 c applesauce, canned or homemade.
4 eggs
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
3 Tbls. oil
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
4-1/2 c. flour

Mix thoroughly and drop by tablespoons into hot oil. Roll in sugar.
