Nebraska Chili
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 C chopped celery
1 can 15.5 oz pork and beans, drained
1 can 15.5 oz kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can 10.75 oz whole kernel corn, undrained
1 can 10.75 oz condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 can 10.75 oz condensed vegetable soup, undiluted
1/4 C water
1/4 C packed brown sugar, optional
1 T vinegar
2 to 3 T chili powder
In a Dutch oven, brown ground beef, onion and celery; cook until tender. Drain. Add remaining ingredients; simmer until heated through. Yield six to eight servings.
