Swiss Steak

1 lb round steak
Cooking oil, enough to brown the meat
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1/2 C green chili peppers, cut fine
1 onion, chopped
Cheese of your choice, shredded

Brown the meat in hot oil and the remove to 9x13-inch baking dish.  Mix the tomatoes, chili peppers, and onion together and pour over the meat.  Bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 to 40 minutes until meat is close to done.  Sprinkle with lots of cheese and then put the pan back in the oven until the cheese is nicely melted.
