Meatloaf Meatballs

1 1/4 lbs lean hamburger
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 C dried breadcrumbs
1/2 C rolled oats
1/4 C ketchup
1/2 onion, chopped or 1 to 2 tsp onion flakes
1/3 C milk
8 -3/4 square-inch square cheese cubes

Topping:
1/4 C ketchup
1/4 C BBQ sauce
2 T brown sugar

Mix all ingredients, except cheese.  Divide into eight balls. Squeeze a piece of cheese into each, shaping well around it.  Place meatballs on parchment paper lined pan.  Mix glaze and coat meatballs. (you can refrigerate at this point for several hours.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.  Serve with wild rice, macaroni and cheese, scalloped potatoes or steamed vegetables.
