Creamed Chicken & Biscuits

½ cup onion (chopped)
1 ½ teaspoon butter
4 cups chopped chicken (cooked)
1-10 ½ oz. cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
½ cup milk
1 cup shredded cheese
6 frozen biscuits (thawed)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 11 x7 baking dish.
Heat onion and butter in skillet until tender.
Combine onion, chicken, chicken soup, sour cream and milk in bowl.
Spoon mixture into baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven.
Sprinkle with ¾ cup of cheese. Arrange biscuits in single layer on top.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake until biscuits are golden brown and sauce is bubbly, about 20 minutes.
