Chicken With Rice

Melt 3 Tablespoons butter or oleo (margarine) in large baking dish 9 x 13”.

Sprinkle with one cup long grain rice on bottom of dish.  Place cut up chicken on top of rice. 

Then  mix together the following  ½ cup water , ½ cup rice, 1 can Cream of celery soup, 1 Can Cream of chicken soup. 

Pour soup mix over chicken, sprinkle  one envelope of  dry  onion soup mix on top.  Put foil on  top and do not open until time is up. 

Bake  at 350 degrees for 2  ½ hours.  If glass dish is used,   bake 25 degrees lower.  Very good.
