Cabbage Goulash
1 lb bulk pork sausage
1 lb ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 can (28 oz size) chopped tomatoes, liquid reserved
1 can (6 oz size) tomato paste
2 T vinegar
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp dried crushed red pepper, optional
10 C shredded cabbage
Brown sausage, beef, and onion; drain fat. Add remaining ingredients, except cabbage, and mix well. Stir in cabbage. Simmer 15-20 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
