Hearty Breakfast Casserole
8 slices bread
2 C milk
1/2 tsp dried mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1 lb grated shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 lb butter
1 lb sausage fried and drained
eggs 6 eggs
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Put cubed bread in the bottom of a greased casserole dish or 9 x 13-inch baking dish. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and add milk, salt, and dried mustard. Sprinkle sausage and cheese over the bread. Slice butter over the cheese and pour the egg mixture over all. Bake for 45 minutes to one hour, until golden brown
