Friend’s House Breakfast Casserole 

 

In an 8” x 12” pan, greased or sprayed.

Cube 8 slices of bread & top with 2 c. sharp American cheese.

Brown 1 lb. sausage & drain & put on top of cheese. 

Beat 4 eggs & add 2 1/2 c. milk with 3/4 t. dry mustard.  Pour over bread, cheese & sausage. 

Refrigerate overnight.

Before going into oven, dilute 1 c. mushroom soup w/ 1/2 c. milk & pour over casserole. 

Bake 300 degree oven for 1 ½ hours.

Green chilies may be added.
