Easy to Peel Hard Boil Eggs

To hard boil eggs so they are easy to peel, I use a Dutch oven pan to boil one dozen eggs. Bring the water to a rapid boil. Carefully, lower the eggs into the boiling water.  You can use a wire basket or I used a slotted spoon. Set timer for 13 minutes.  Drain immediately and cover with ice water to chill. The boiling water makes the white of the egg cook immediately, which makes it easier to peel.  I have done this with fresh eggs as well older eggs, both worked well.
