CORN FRITTERS

 

2 c. fresh corn

1/8 tsp. pepper

1 tsp. melted margarine

2 c. flour

1 tsp. salt

1 egg

1/2 c. milk

2 tsp. baking powder

 

Mix all ingredients. Heat oil for deep fat frying. Drop mixture by spoon into hot oil. Cook until brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove, drain well.
