Easy Baked Bread 

1 1/2 cup warm water

1 1/2 tablespoon instant yeast

1 tablespoon honey

4 cups all purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon italian seasoning

Directions

Preheat your oven to 450

      In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the yeast, honey and water. Cover with a towel and allow to sit for about 15 minutes, until nice and bubbly. If it's not bubbly, the yeast is not active. 

     Add flour and salt and mix using a dough hook on speed 2 (or knead by hand) for about 5 minutes or until nice and smooth.

     On a floured cutting board or counter divide the dough in half and shape into 2 oblong loaves.   Slice three to five lines across the top. I like the lines since it gives nice texture to the bread.

 Cover with a dishtowel and let rise for 20 minutes. 

Brush the tops of the loaves with olive oil and italian seasoning and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
