Chocolate Bon Bons
Tammy Cline
(My family fights over these because one batch is never enough)
1 can (14 oz.) Sweetened condensed milk
4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter…so substitutes, softened
½ teaspoon of flavor for each section: vanilla, almond, coconut and plain.
1 ½ pounds almond bark, melted
Mix milk and sugar in bowl, mix well. Add butter and mix till all is combined. Divide your mixtures in how many different flavors you like. Add flavors. With the coconut, I roll them in coconut flakes. The plain in crushed pecans.
Freeze until solid, remove one section at a time, roll into small balls, then freeze again. Repeat with all sections working with one section at a time. Place in melted Bark, place on waxed paper. When firm, dip again and refreeze. Keep frozen till used. Will be soft when left out.
I do the coconut ones in white chocolate. Nut ones in dark chocolate.
The rest in ½ white and ½ dark melted together like a milk chocolate.
