Hot Apple Cinnamon Sauce

1 C brown sugar
3/4 C apple juice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 C grated apple
1/4 C butter

Combine sugar, juice, and cinnamon and boil to a heavy syrup over medium heat (about five minutes). Stir in butter and apple and cook another minute or so.
