Cream Cheese Pumpkin Dip

1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 can pumpkin pie mix (NOT solid-pack pumpkin)
2 C. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. orange rind--grated

Serve as dip or spread, with your favorite spice cookies, oatmeal cookies, molasses cookies or gingersnaps.

Beat cream cheese in a mixing bowl until smooth; gradually add pumpkin pie mix and beat well. Beat in the sugar, spices and orange rind.
