Hamburger Barley Soup

1 pound hamburger
5 cups water
32 ounce canned tomatoes, broken up
1 medium onion
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup chopped celery
½ cup Pearl Barley
¼ cup catsup
1 beef bouillon cube
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon dry crushed basil
Salt and pepper to taste

In a 3 quart pan, brown meat. Drain off fat. Add water and undrained tomatoes. Put in everything else in order, except the salt and pepper. Bring to boiling. Reduce and simmer, covered for 2 hours. When done, season with salt and pepper to taste.
