Fluffy Lemon Orange Salad

1 pint (2 cups) dairy sour cream
1 large (6 oz.) lemon Jell-O
1 tub (12 oz.) whipped topping, thawed
2 cans (11 oz. each) mandarin oranges, drained

Mix sour cream and whipped topping together in a large bowl. Add large package dry Jell-0. Stir until mixed thoroughly. Add drained oranges and stir. Chill until serving time.

NOTE: you can use any combination of Jell-O and fruit that you want to. I have also used orange Jell-O and crushed pineapple, so be creative!
