Chicken Salad

1 lb pkg cabbage slaw mix (I used the kind with purple cabbage & carrots)
1 bunch chopped green onions including some green tops
3/4 c. sliced almonds
3/4 c sunflower nuts
1 can sliced water chestnuts
2 pkg chicken Ramen noodle soup mix
3-4 cooked chopped chicken breasts

Dressing:
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. apple cider vinegar
2 packets of chicken flavoring from ramen noodles

In a LARGE bowl, mix together the cabbage slaw mix, uncooked ramen noodles (broken up in very small pieces), onions and water chestnuts.

To make dressing mix sugar, oil, vinegar and packets of dry soup seasoning mix together. Pour dressing over salad about 2 hours before serving. Add almonds & sunflower nuts just before serving.

Keeps well in refrigerator for several days, if it lasts that long.
