Cabbage Soup

1 pound ground beef, browned
1 large can of Kidney beans
1 quart tomatoes
1 quart water
1 package of Onion Soup mix
½ head of large cabbage or 1 head small cabbage
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Put all ingredients in soup pot and simmer for 2 hours. You can use fresh onions with beef bouillon instead of onion soup mix. Also you can use pinto beans instead of kidney beans. Very Good!
