Rhubarb Bars

3 cups rhubarb, cut up
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tbsp. corn starch
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla
Cook---cool.

1 1/2 cups quick oatmeal
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Mix till crumbly. Pat 3/4 of mixture in 9x13" pan. Spread cooled rhubarb mixture over that. Put rest of mixture on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
