Peanut Cakes

2 eggs beaten

1 cup sugar

Beat these two till fluffy.

Add:  1 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

 

Beat until mixed well, then add ½ cup boiling water and continue to mix well.  Pour into 9 x 13” greased pan. 

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.  Cut into squares and cover with a thin powder sugar frosting made with powder sugar, a little vanilla and milk to make a thin frosting, 

Lastly roll in crushed or ground salted peanuts.  Place on wax paper.  You can cut cake into any size square.
