Ice Cream Cherry Krisp

1/2 C butter
1 C brown sugar
5 C Rice Krispies
2 C coconut
1/2 C chopped walnuts
ice cream, slightly softened

Topping
1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 C white syrup

Melt butter and brown sugar, add the rest of the ingredients, and mix well.  Put half of the mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan.  Add a layer of ice cream, then the rest of the Rice Krispies mixture.  Add topping to each piece when serving.
