German Apple Cake

2 eggs
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup salad oil
2 cups sugar
4 cups chopped raw apples
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
½ to 1 cup English walnuts (chopped)

Beat all ingredients with a spoon, do not use a mixer. Beat eggs, add sugar, vanilla and oil. Sift dry ingredients and add to egg mixture. Add apples, raisins, and nuts. Put in 9 x 13 pan (greased) and bake 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Serve with whipped topping or Pillsbury coconut pecan frosting mix.
