Crockpot Banana Dessert

6 ripe but firm bananas, peeled
1/ 2 cup flaked coconut
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup dark corn syrup
¼ cup butter, melted
1 Tablespoon grated lemon peel
3 to 4 Tablespoons lemon juice (1 medium lemon)

Arrange peeled bananas in the bottom of crock-pot; sprinkle with coconut, cinnamon, and the salt. Combine dark corn syrup, butter, lemon peel and juice; pour over banana layer. Cover and cook on low for 1 ½ to 2 hours.
