Coffee Bars

Beat together:
1 C brown sugar
1/2 C margarine, softened
1/2 C hot coffee
1 egg

Stir in:
1 1/2 C flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Raisins and nuts, as desired

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Pour batter into a jellyroll pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.  Make a glaze of powdered sugar, one teaspoon margarine, and a little hot water and beat until all lumps are out. Spread onto hot bars right out of the oven.
