Cherry Cheese Coffee Cake

1- 8 ounce pkg. cream cheese
2- 8 ounce pkg. crescent rolls
1/4 C. powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling

Arrange on a pizza pan the crescent rolls triangles to make a circle.

There may be a slight circle in middle of this. Smooth out the dough to make one solid piece Pinch edges, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg & vanilla.

Cream together & put this mixture on top of dough. Top this with cherry pie filling spreading around. You will have three (3) triangle wedges left from each can of Crescent rolls for a total of six (6). Cut each wedge of dough into thirds & arrange on top. Bake 25-30 minutes @ 350°

Glaze
1/2 cup powdered sugar 2-3 Tablespoons milk
Spread on the cake & sprinkle with chopped pecans or slivered almonds
