Cheddar And Onion Muffins

2 c plain flour
3-1/2 t baking powder
1 t salt
1 t paprika
1/4 c butter
1 egg, beaten
1 c milk
1 c cheese (shredded cheddar)
1/2 c fine chopped  green onions

Sift the first 4 ingredients. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in the remaining ingredients just until moist. Spoon into buttered muffin pans and bake350* for 25 minutes.
