Skillet Cabbage 

 

1 head of cabbage, shredded 

1 pack of bacon, sliced 

½ C chicken broth 

1 T garlic powder 

1 T onion powder 

1/2 T black pepper 

1 red bell pepper, diced 

1 onion, diced 

3 cloves garlic, minced 

1 tsp apple cider vinegar 

 

In a large skillet, add bacon and cook until just beginning to get crispy. Add bell pepper, onion, and spices and mix well. Cook for about five minutes, until the veggies are tender.  Add cabbage and broth. Cook about 20 minutes, cabbage will wilt and become translucent. Add apple cider vinegar and cook five minutes more.
