Baked Broccoli Macaroni and Cheese

1 lb elbow macaroni, cooked
1 C milk
1 large egg
3 T salted butter, melted
2 C shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
1 1/2 C shredded Italian blend cheese
1 1/2 C broccoli, chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
1 tsp dried parsley flakes (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, add the egg and lightly beat it. Pour in the milk and melted butter. Whisk the ingredients. Add the pasta, broccoli, one cup cheddar cheese, 1 1/2 cup Italian blend cheese, and seasonings. Fold in all of the ingredients. Place the macaroni mixture into a large casserole dish, and sprinkle one cup of cheddar cheese on top. Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes. Let the casserole stand for five minutes before serving.
