Spaghetti Pie

6 ounces spaghetti

2 Tablespoon butter

½ cup grated parmesan

2 eggs beaten

1 pound ground beef

½ cup chopped onion

16 0z. tomato paste

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon oregano

1 cup cottage cheese

½ cup mozzarella cheese

Cook spaghetti and drain.  Stir in butter, parmesan cheese and eggs.  Press into buttered 9 x 13” baking dish.  

Cook meat and onions.  Drain of fat.  Stir in tomato paste and spices.  Spread cottage cheese mixture over spaghetti crust. 

Fill with meat mixture.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. 

Spread mozzarella cheese around edge and return to oven until melted.  Makes 8 servings.
