Smoked Sausage and Cabbage  

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

1 small head of cabbage, chopped  

1 small onion, chopped

1 lb. smoked sausage, sliced into coins (I used turkey sausage)

1 can (15 oz.)diced tomatoes, or Ro-tel tomatoes  

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper  

Directions

Melt butter in large skillet. Add cabbage and onion and cook about 5 minutes on medium high heat, stirring occasionally.

Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer about 15 minutes.
