Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

 

•1 can cream of chicken soup (10 oz)

•1/2 packet onion soup mix

•3 teaspoons garlic, crushed or finely chopped

•1 chicken stock cube

•1/2-3/4 cup warm water

•1 1/2 tablespoons Basil

•1 cup chopped onion

•chicken breast diced (2.2 lbs)

•1/4 cup cream cheese

•1/4 cup sour cream

 

Put diced chicken breast in slow cooker.  Top with chopped onions.

In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except for the cream cheese and sour cream. 

Pour soup mixture on top of chicken and onions.  Stir.

Cover and cook on low 6-8 hrs.

In the last 15 minutes of cooking, add the cream cheese and sour cream; stir well to combine.

 

Serve over  cooked noodles
